Grants Pass Pharmacy - Grants Pass, Oregon
Today we stopped in at the Grants Pass Pharmacy for a "phosphate," which was an old-fashioned, hand mixed fountain treat. I couldn't believe the price -- 25¢. (I believed they've recently raised their prices to 50¢)
This quaint Pharmacy is full of modern goods and looks like any other modern day drug store, only with very expensive merchandise to the average fare. That is, until you approach the soda fountain, and then it's like a "Twilight Zone" return to the past.
To use a term to describe the Grants Pass Pharmacy that was a common term in its' day, as it is today; It was "cool!"
Next time you visit downtown, stop and have yourself an old-fashioned "phosphate" at the Grants Pass Pharmacy.
